Types
of “the salutes” |
A successful “presentation” of alive butterflies
depends on many factors, and each case we rate
individually. First, it is the size of placement
(maybe it will be outdoor). You have to consider
the characteristic features of different species
of the butterflies, their speed and the nature
of the flight. That is why we advise you to use
different big tropical butterflies or combine
them with small tropical butterflies for a more
effective start of the salute. In any case, after
the launch all species of the butterflies fly
to a brighter source of light.
The main things to avoid loosing of the butterflies
and to make a maximum impression are:
- · To let a piece of butterflies out from one
festive box
- · To let butterflies out from several boxes
from different places in a hall
- · To present one butterfly (in a box) a man
selectively to some guests with following opening
of the boxes at the “right” time thinking of wishes
- decorating a hall use big glass beakers (the
vases) with fluttering butterflies inside.
The presence of a photographer is very important.
Everybody wants to be photographed with a butterfly.
It is easy to organize after positive natural
preparation of a butterfly. We can offer some
clips (2-3 minutes) and many pictures on CD.

Care
of the butterflies |
In nature, the butterflies use nectar of
the flowers and overripe fruits for food.
At home, you can feed them up with sugar
or honey solution. To prepare it dissolve
a few teaspoons of sugar or honey in a cup
of water. Because of disability of the butterflies
to see the solution, give them to taste
it. Use any pin or toothpick to unroll butterfly's
proboscis and dip its tip in the solution.
After this, the butterfly calms down and
begins to eat. At home conditions, it is
desirable to feed butterflies up once a
day. It permits to prolong their life several
times more. |
